JT's Birthday Party
(Special thanks to Kelly & Megan for all the AWESOME photos)
We had the party on Friday, Oct. 19th at the Simpson Bay McDonalds. We rented the playroom which has play equipment and they provided decorations, cake, favors, happy meals, hats...etc.
So, that sounds awesome...but on this island, you really never know what you're going to get...so, honestly, I was a little worried. We showed up early ready for just about anything. So, we were sooo pleasantly surprised when the room looked GREAT!! It had all these balloons and decorations hanging everywhere and the tables were already laid out. The tablecover they had matched our Spiderman theme so JT was bouncing off the walls. All I had to do was put out the extra cake I brought and set out the pinata. That was it!! This was the easiest party I have ever done!
Our Guests Start to Arrive...
Ok...Hillary is the only one looking at the camera...and the kids are all holed up in the playground and not in the picture. You can see Tyson whizzing by, though...
Let's Get Ready for Happy Meals...
The kids wore hats and colored while they waited for their food...but the coloring didn't last long. Most of the kids managed to escape back to the playground.
...they came back for the food, which most of them only nibbled while eyeing the cake and pinata...
On to the Cake!!
~~Happy Birthday to~~~ You~~
We had 2 Cakes. One was a McDonalds Vanilla Cake and one was a Chocolate Cake I brought. They were both very yummy.
Nicole & Tyson smile for the camera while Laura & Peyton concentrate on cake.

Finally...Pinata Time!!
Ok...first of all, everybody knows what a flake I am!! So it has to be no surprise that I forgot to bring a stick to hit the pinata with...duh! Luckily, you can pull a string to open it up...but it's just not as cool! Oh, and THANK YOU, Derrick for being our pinata holder...you can see his feet on the chair...hehe.
After a few good tugs on the string, a rain of candy and toys came down on JT's head and the kids all dove for the floor.
SCORE!!
*Laura Rescues Noah*
Ok...Noah was playing in there forever before I think he decided it was too hard to get down. Well, unless you are a child, it is hard to climb that darn thing...so, Matt, Noah's dad/ wasn't gonna fit. Laura bravely climbed on up to fetch him...and managed to scare the poor little kid!! The moment she got up there, he started bawling. It was hilarious. So, this is a pic of Laura and sobbing Noah at the top of the play equipment.
Happy Birthday, Bro!!
**Thank You for Coming Everyone!!!**
Sorry for the super long post...
