The rest of our stay in Atlanta was spent catching up with all the friends we missed while we were away. JT had playdates with friends and I caught up with my friends too. But mostly, we spent as much time as humanly possible with the family. My mom is about to claim bankrupcy because I made her take us out to dinner all the time...sushi and more sushi and still more...spoiled brat that I am. My sis and I saw each other nearly every day...to the point where we were getting on each other's nerves :) The cousins enjoyed the time together though and it made up for lost time. Also, we got a rare Atlanta snowfall which was a bonus for the boys. The snow actually stuck around for a few days which NEVER happens in Georgia! Enjoy some pics from Atlanta!
In Toronto, we saw enough snow to last us the rest of the year!! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, it snowed everyday, sometimes, all day. Needless to say, the boys were ecstatic! They waded through snow, made snowangels, shoveled, jumped off the deck into it...you name it, they did it! Also, at a nearby park, there is a sledding hill, where we took the boys for some super fast thrills. JT wanted to spend every moment he could in the snow, but I was afraid of having two sick boys for the loooonnng trip back to St Maarten so it was a constant struggle between us. We loved hanging out with Grandpa and Grandma and catching up with our cute cousin, Isaac. Isaac is very used to snow since he lives in Michigan so he probably thought the two southern boys were so uncool fawning over the snow like the couple of Georgia hicks that they are! It was a short trip, but it was great to see everyone and spend some time with the family. Enjoy some pics from Toronto!
